Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Chicco discovered her knack for jewelry design at an early age. By the time she attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, she had committed to a major in metalsmithing and a lifelong pursuit of adornment design. With a horizon-expanding sojourn at the Studio Arts Center International in Florence, Italy under her belt and several apprenticeships with well-established jewelers on both coasts, Chicco set off to design, create and produce her own unique line of jewelry. Since its launch in 2000, her collection-which marries 14k gold with diamonds, pearls and semi-precious gemstones such as turquoise, opals and colored gemstones-has created a cult following among celebrities and trendsetters alike. Zoë Chicco designs are now available in over 200 stores in the U.S. and internationally. Pieces from the collection are also available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Shopbop, Intermix, ABC Carpet and Home, Twist, Greenwich St. Jewelers, Elyse Walker and Mix at the Breakers. Chicco currently resides and works in Los Angeles with her husband, Tim, their son Truman, and their dog, Rocco.
